Entruss has been an active partner in the commercialisation of some products in defence such as i.ENTRAP and ii.ENFLEX iii.McVest with inventors from the Faculty of Engineering and the Built Environment, UKM, and  other partners. EVSB have several IPs in its possession.

Young researchers, innovators and clients are welcomed to experience the EVSB "mentor-til-you-roar" method. This program consist a 5 star pronged elements which are sowing, catalyzing, showing, harvesting and accompanying.   EVSB will mentor the  entrepreneur from the very inception. Our experts will help in brainstorming your ideas. We  help in the designing and fabrication, as well as IP submission, until it is awarded.

McVest is a body protective system with special insert able to defeat level iiiA threat. McVest has been awarded an ID (Industrial Design for McVest Bulletproof Vest : 18-01467-0101 ; Class 29-02) This product showcases our success in getting an IP.

ENFLEX is a multi-segemnted material of reinforced rubber, natural & synthetic fiber for soft body armour. Inventors from UTEM and EVSB hold the copyright to this invention.

EVSB have both local and international networking to help you achieve your success. This include development of your product, fabrication and commercialisation in Malaysia, Indonesia, Iran, Turkey, France, Thailand, Qatar, and United Kingdom.

IP demands broad knowledge and know-how, why and what it is and the commercialisation process until highest TRL levels achieved. Funding is also another important factor. All these are covered in our IP & C programme. Shariah perspectives of IP, the global framework of IP regime under the IPO and introducing legal aspects of business such as basic contract law and basic company law.

ENRAN / ENRAM is a project that EVSB mentored to it's successful commercialisation. It is an example of EVSB inventor/startup/collaboration from idea to commercialisation. This project involved various organisations in collaboration to reach where it is today thanks to EVSB team members networking both locally and internationally.

ENTRAP is our first case study for our EVSB IP & C solution. This project was a collaborative work of EVSB, UKM, UTEM and STRIDE. We later signed an MOU with Hacettepe Technopolis Ankara (Turkey) for a possible commercialisation in Turkey. We engaged with PT Sri Rejeki Isman (SRITEX) Indonesia as our  fabrication partner.

EVSB service does not end when IP is acquired. We will guide every step to commercialise your products. EVSB will provide an overview of the processes involved, in-depth framework of the commercialisation path. We will provide information on funding opportunities and know-how on sustainability: forming strategic partnerships. This will covers various topic in the mentoring which include driving force, technology assessment, patent agent, IP policies in commercialisation, 3rd party commercialisation, spin-offs, licensing vs outright sales, cumulative profit vs time, risk management and forging strategic alliances to name a few.
