Prof Dr Mariyam Jameelah Ghazali holds the position of Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, National University of Malaysia. She is also one of the leading researchers of the Advanced Material Group and the associate partner of Selfuel (SOFC). Previously appointed as Visiting Professor at Nagaoka University in Japan in 2018. In university service, she was the Editor-in-Chief of the UKM Engineering Journal, Chair of the Materials Lecture Competition for the UKM and at the 2015 National Level.

 

She is also active in organizations and professional bodies in Malaysia as well as internationally, where she is co-founder of the Malaysian Tribology Society (MyTribos). Most recently he was appointed Vice Chairman of the Asian Tribological Council until 2022. In addition, she has received numerous academic and international awards and research awards.
